Lakeshore offers a community based day services program for persons with intellectual disabilities and autism. The services offered are geared towards individuals preferences, interests and their personal goals. The program’s mission is to increase independence, skills and community integration. One of the primary outcomes is to promote civic engagement within one's own community.
CPS cultivates community relationships toward potential employment or volunteer opportunities.
Lakeshore staff strive to focus on the interests of each person while developing a program of unique design. Individuals are encouraged to participate in the creation of their program by choosing from a wide range of recreational, volunteer, social, arts and crafts, and community activities.
