Lakeshore Community Services was founded in 1986 to provide residential services to individuals with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Initially Lakeshore opened four homes in Erie County. Lakeshore now offers supports in thirty- two homes across multiple counties in Northwest Pennsylvania.
