LIFE SKILLS
Not everyone gains a level of comfort in the daily regimen of a sheltered workshop or an adult activities center. For those who struggle with these settings, Lakeshore offers Life Skills, a program tailored to the individual needs of persons in need of options. READ MORE>>
FAMILY lIVING
Lifesharing through Family Living offers individuals with mental retardation the option to share their lives with members of the community in an extraordinary way. In the Lifesharing program a family is “matched” to a person seeking the comfort and support of that traditional setting. READ MORE>>
SUPPORTED LIVING
For some, the community can be an intimidating place. Negotiating the complexity of finding a suitable place to live, a meaningful job, or even enough to eat can be overwhelming. For these individuals, Lakeshore offers Supported Living. READ MORE>>
sEMI-INDEPENDENT LIVING
Semi-Independent Living offers persons with serious and persistent mental illness an island of stability as they pursue their goals of recovery. Initiated in 1993, the Semi-Independent Living program was founded on the principles of permanence and consumer directed supports.
