Lakeshore Community Services, Inc. provides diverse employment opportunities for persons with advanced degrees, as well as those who choose to provide direct care to others. Our direct-care professionals receive in excess of 24 hours of training yearly to ensure that they are equipped to provide consumers with the best possible care.

Direct-care professionals are needed in order to provide 24-hour care to over 85 individuals residing in residential care homes. Direct-care professionals provide personal care, emotional, and self-help care in every area of individual lives. Community activities are encouraged in order to integrate people with disabilities into the mainstream community.

There are part-time and full-time positions available in the residential setting. Each home has a Program Specialist who oversees operation of that home. A Program Specialist must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field, as well as two years of direct care expenence.

Lakeshore Community Services, Inc. also provides Blended Case Management services to persons in the community with serious and persistent mental illness. Blended Case Managers are Mental Health Professionals with advanced training and field experience in the community.
